Newborn photography session for your newborn, they are the most precious thing in the world, I absolutely love everything about them! Their soft wrinkly skin, pouty lips that may give a smile or cry, those tiny hands and feet that just melts your heart and oh, the chubby cheeks just rounds off why I love them so much! If you want those adorable posed photos using our selection of props, book your newborn session at the studio. Rather come to you? no problem, photos can be done in the comfort of your home. For any newborn photography, I recommend you schedule the session for the first week. After the first week, newborns may be more alert, making them harder to pose. I am also happy to photograph you and your family at no extra charge.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my baby’s newborn photography session?
As soon as you can. Newborn photography session is done the very first week of birth when they are still so new and sleepy. You can still book during the first month but otherwise earlier is better.
How long is the session and do I need to bring anything?
It takes patience with a newborn so please allow 2-3 hours for your session. This will include feeding baby when you arrive. For a newborn photography session in the studio, you can come as you are. You will have access to all our props, blankets, wraps and accessories.
Can I take a photo with my baby?
Yes, absolutely, just let me know. I will be happy to take a family photo without extra charge.
Can you come to my home for a session?
Yes, I will use the brightest room in your house and bring a small selection of props that we discuss on. I will take a quick look at which areas are best for the photos before setting up. Overall, a newborn photography session in your home can take about 2-3 hours. Although there’s no charge for me to come to you if you are in the Cypress area. But travel fee is required if you are outside the area.
What should I expect on the day?
When you come to the studio, you’ll expect the room to be warm and cozy. This is important so that baby stays happy and sleepy. Additionally, I like to put on some relaxing music. So relax with me and help yourself to tea/coffee/drinks and snacks while you wait and watch your baby being photographed. I will have a few set ups ready in the studio depending on your preferences. I will take care of your baby, wrap them up and pose them. Occasionally, I may need your help to be my spotter!
